BLACKY – Andreas Schwarz – Ruszczynski
Born in Berlin, Blacky studied Classical Guitar from the age of nine. His career started off as the youngest faculty member at a Berlin music college. After discovering the electric guitar, Blacky played together with the Grips Theatre Band. He then joined forces with UKW co-writing,recording and performing the bands top 5 charting hits, Sommersprossen,Ich Will and Hey Matrosen.
As one of Germany’s most respected guitarists Blacky joined “ The Other Ones ”, where his writing and co-producing skills added to the band’s success with chart topping albums which included the hit singles Holiday and We Are What We Are.
As a session guitarist Blacky has recorded for many top acts such as Alphaville, Klaus Schulze, Petshop Boys and Boy George. He has worked alongside Producers Trevor Horn, Steve Lipson, Julian Mendelsen and Jack White and many more.
As the founder of Bibest Studios, Blacky has co-produced,written and recorded projects such as Marian Gold (Alphaville), Bon Voyage (Bon Voyage Records) Fares (3P), Hinter dem Regenbogen (Karisma Verlag) ,Toowaboo (Gun Records), Chiwake (Bon Voyage Records), IndividuelleTinnitus Therapie with H.-J. Heinrichs (Patmos Verlag).
